African-Americans in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) have had a major impact on our lives and society today. It is the goal of the Elementary Mathematics department to create opportunities for our scholars to be exposed to these contributions. So, in celebration of Black History Month, the Elementary Mathematics Department presents the:
'2023 IMPACT on STEM Contest'.
This contest allows our elementary scholars (Grades K-5) an opportunity to showcase the impact of African-American contributors to the world of STEM. Details for the contest are on the flyer below AND attached. If you have any additional questions, please email me or Ms. Greene ([email protected]).
